The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It wasn't such a bad school based on the reputation it has. Like every school it has it's good and bad things. The school provides several programs to help and guide you if you're serious about your education. The school also had its share of some awesome teachers, that made learning not soo boring. The one thing about the school is some of the students lack discipline so you had your school fights a little too often.

One thing I loved about northeast Early college Highschool was that they push you to challenge yourself. Thanks to the teachers and coaches I was able to challenge myself to take college classes while still being in multiple sports and still finishing in the top 5% of my class.

My over all experience at this school the last three years has been great. I've never encountered any serious problems. It is a great environment. I love the layout out of the school and all of the amazing teachers. They are all great always willing to help and making their selves available.

I'm a grad who has returned to help support Reagan, volunteering on campus and helping to raise awareness and scholarship money for students. Reagan Early College High School is a turn around story that is now being studied and replicated across the state of Texas. A combination of community members...

Austin Reagan High School was THE high school in Austin for many years. I graduated from Reagan when it was one the the best academic and athletic schools in Texas and the nation. Nationally ranked in almost every category. The school lost its sense of direction and purpose for a while but under lea...
