GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, I think that Bardstown is a good school. The teachers try their best to connect and educate their students. Even though we go through rough patches like covid-19 or teachers leaving right before school starts, everyone gathers to ensure that the student's educational and emotional needs don't falter.

Being at Bardstown Highschool I feel like I've had big opportunities to grow. The counselors and teachers are a big help and will help you get to where you need to be for you to graduate. Bardstown is the most diverse school in the county and it's a very accepting school no matter the race, religion, or sexuality. The best part of my experience is being able to get a second chance at the nursing programs here since I didn't take any during my first 3 years at this school. I would say that my worst experience is how they manage dreadful situations such as bullying at times.

I would like to see faculty be more helpful with seniors applying to college. There is little to no help at finding scholarships or how to apply.
