This school was fantastic from Pre-K through 2nd grade. In 3rd grade and beyond, expect teachers who range from caring and helpful to downright useless. Placement scores suffer as you advance and if you want to transfer to another school past 3rd or 4th grade, expect your kid to repeat a grade. The reason might be lots of turnover with teachers and the administration.

I can't say enough good things about Sacred Heart School. My daughter graduated from SHS in 2015 and was so prepared for high school -- academically, socially and spiritually. The school is a very close knit family deeply rooted in the Catholic faith. The administration, teachers, students, and parents are engaged and dedicated to making our school the best in Baton Rouge. I also love the diversity of the student body because it is indicative of society at large.
