Has problems like all high schools but is not the worst school nor the best. Feels like there is a slight culture divide between the highly conservative apostolic church, who dont care about school, those that care about school and everyone else.

Battle Ground High School is a good high school. It has good staff members and teachers that are dedicated to their students. There is a wide variety of programs and extracurriculars. I enjoyed my time at this school, and would recommend it to other students.

Some of the faculty members would take sides based on beliefs and backgrounds. They would make assumptions based on your religious beliefs and your race. Most of the teachers are extremely rude and don't want to even be teaching at that school so they take it out on the students by yelling and giving referrals for no reason.

The number of elective classes and the selection are amazing. (Such examples are Audio Production, Welding, Woodworking, Jewelry, Photo/Digital Photo, Animation, Video Game Design, etc.) One major problem this school has is overcrowding, with around a total school population of around 1,500 students...

I have two sons there now. One a Sophomore and one a Senior. They have both had good experiences. Both are very active in sports and with friends. I stay involved also which I think really helps.
