I personally believe that Battle Lake School has pushed me in academics to achieve more than I thought I could. The extracurricular programs are all very welcoming and fun to be in. The best part of Battle Lake is how close all the teachers are to the students. The bonds you make are very beneficial to education. The only thing I don't enjoy about Battle Lake is that the school is due for a revamp. The school itself is old and some building advancements could greatly help it.

Students, Faculty and our community fell like we are family at Battle Lake Schools. The Music programs are second to none in our area. Rigor is stressed and the teachers do a nice job of having 1 on 1 personal relationships with every student.

Battle Lake school has a good range of academics. For me, music was the big one. The choir sings compositions from many different cultures. Furthermore, the band department plays a good mixture of moderate to hard compositions. Both the band and choir directors are always enthusiastic for students to discover their talents in music.
