Throughout my high school career, HCHS has served as a place where I have been able to avidly prepare myself for college life. I feel like I have gained the tools necessary to succeed. I will most definitely utilize the strategies my top teachers (Dr. Kevin Harris and Dr. Anama-Green) have equipped me with. Overall, I have had very fun and enlightening experiences here at Harlan County High School.

My freshman year was the beginning of Covid-19, so everyone was forced to go online. Eventually my sophomore year came, and with my Cystic Fibrosis (CF), I was forced once more to do home hospital. I couldn't risk getting myself sick. It was hard to learn anything or even concentrate on my work because I struggled so much. My junior year, I was allowed to go into high school for the first time. It was so new to me and everyone else in my grade had already experienced a new school and community. It took a lot of time to blend in with others and find my own way around too. It is now my senior year and I love my school so much. The teachers I have had made everything so much better. I am sad I am leaving this year and will miss high school. I wish I had a longer stay here.

I recently graduated from this school and I am going to try to be as unbiased as I can in this review. Throughout the years I was here, male teachers would act perverse to female students with no consequences and when someone had threatened many at the school, the school threatened to punish the stu...
