If I had it to do over again I would not attend this school. It is entirely too strict and controlling. The school puts little focus on academics but tons of focus on athletics. This school is all about who you know and how good you are at sports. My overall experience at Sylva-Bay Academy has been decent but could have been much better elsewhere.

Sylva-Bay is a very safe school. We practice what to do in dangerous situations. We do not have the best health system. We have no school nurse. They would rather you be at school sick than miss school. We have no special security measures. We have no campus police, but we have no need for one due to lack of violence.

We play football. The best sports experience we've ever had!! The coaches lit a fire in my kids for the love of football! My children aren't old enough to go to any after school clubs.

Love it! Our kids are struggling a little this first year but learning!! Its been challenging to them but they are loving it! Teachers are helpful and pleasant. My kids have never been happier!
