I feel like Beacon is a good school but over the last couple of years things definitely went down hill with the switch in principals and the new students.

The teacher and staff are constantly taking sides and all this school looks for is to try and pin a student to the corner and get him/her in trouble with whatever stupid “rule” they come up with. My daughter graduated from BHS with Honors in 2018 and went on to be on the Deans List student at SUNY New Paltz where she majored in Education and minored in History. She also won a NY State Chancellors Award for creating a history app of the Hudson Valley. Now she is attending Teacher’s College at...
