The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Since my freshman year Patterson mill has not been the most diverse but the teachers were able to include each and every person. The Freshman year was a little boring due to Covid not allowing me to play football. MY Sophmore year was very Inclusive due to me playing on the football and basketball team. MY junior year was very fun because i was a starter on varsity

Patterson Mill High School not only provided us an education but a home. A home where we are always welcomes us with open arms. Not only did we learn the understanding of how the real world works but also an understanding of what true school spirit is. We learned how to over come the biggest obstacles and the smallest hurdles. Each day was a new challenge we over came and the staff and faculty supported us the whole way. Our wonderful principle always gave us a chance to express ourselves whether it be through the music, art or athletic program given to us. I will always be grateful to go to a school that gave us a safe space and always keep their doors open for us. "Once a Husky, Always a Husky"

Overall I have enjoyed my years at Patterson Mill. From the middle school to the high school, I've had great teachers. The environment of the school is great as well. I've met excellent people and I don't have much to complain about. I feel I'm always encouraged to do my best. I love how easy it is to reach out for help when I need it. My councilor has helped me so much these past few years. When I have questions about classes or even colleges, I go to her. Weather it's an email or in person. Another thing I really like about Patterson Mill is the school spirit. There's constantly spirit days and everyone is encouraged to support our sports teams. I enjoy playing and watching our sports teams. I really like how the middle school and high school are combined. It made switching from middle to high school so easy. I already knew the building pretty well, so it really eased first day nerves. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend Patterson Mill High School to any student.
I had two kids graduate from this school. The teachers are go above and beyond! The school is clean and organized. This is a public school ran more like a private school.
This school has a reputation of being a good school but from my experiences and the experiences of people I know, it was pretty bad. The thing is, the reason our school gets a good wrap is because the students don’t get caught. All of secrets are held there. Nuff said.
