GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Berea is an okay school, but not if you are wanting to go to a big college, their sports are almost terrible, most their middle school teams hardly ever win games, the male teachers at berea are perverted its actually so weird. But its a good place to make friends...Although the school food is awful, most the time is watery, cold and not so healthy.

Great school. Music department run by Matt Barnhill is the best experience I've ever had. He's the true definition of someone who cares about their students. He's what inspires me to go into music education.

I absolutely loved attending BCHS. They gave me the opportunity to grow and provided me with all the resources I needed. The teachers there are so dedicated to the students and it's almost impossible to fail unless you really try to. The only downside is that the demographics in the school are very limited and the school is a little old and it shows. Other than that I loved my time at Berea and if I ever have kids growing up in Berea they would attend this school.

This school was a fiasco for my child. Administration cannot manage and are impossible to talk to. No communication from teachers. I don’t get it?! It used to be the school to go to in the county. now it’s the school to avoid. Glad my student is out of there before it had any lasting damage.

Ineffective and poorly organized. Mold, cockroaches and leaking roof to endanger children's health. Bullying is allowed and not addressed appropriately. Child is told the teacher needs to see in order to stop. Argumentive office staff and teachers who do not return email or phone calls.

This is great school, teachers and students are friendly. It;s a small school, but they offered lot of classes, include challenge AP and Honor classes.
