GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see some more supportive teachers. We have a few but more would be nice. I like when teachers try to build a relationship with you.

This school was amazing. It was a smaller school so it allowed everything to be so personal with each other. One on one was always a thing that was encouraged. Everyone was friendly excited to be there. The sports were amazing and that was the life of our school. Academics were great, teachers really focused on making sure we understood everything before they moved on. The school was a positive and healthy place to be.

My experience at the high school was not a great one. I felt the teachers were not fully available and some were teaching classes that they didn't have a degree in. I struggled with a lot in high school due to the changes in our small town. They closed some schools and changed the school from High School to Middle and High School. I am glad that I graduated before this happened. I don't feel it is right that they did this.

this is the best high school in the great north woods, I know this first hand I graduated from it in 1984 and thats before the mill vanished and you ask anyone now and they say that the town has become a ghost town, but the Berlin Sr. High School is the best in the county.
