I don't like that my child comes home and tells me about all the fights, inappropriate speech by students and a lack of communication between some teachers and the administration. I emailed both a teacher and the vice principal about an issue neither returned my email. I left a msg at the office, never received a callback. I also think the school needs to crack down on verbal and physical bullying and foul language. I'm a teacher, I have no problem telling kids that certain language, phrases or songs are not school appropriate. At least my child knows right from wrong. But, I still don't appreciate her being exposed to inappropriate behavior and speech by a bunch of unruly 5th and 6th graders with bad manners.
