My experience at Boone High is one that has led me to be prepared for the real world. We do different programs such as Character Strong, Portrait of a Graduate, and Edge in efforts to make us equipped for life after high school. Through internships, and free college courses during my time at Boone High, I am confident in my future college experience.

I really like it here. The teachers work really hard to make sure that you are ready for college. I learning that takes place here is good and the staff is very nice. The kids were very nice to me when I first moved here. They treated me like I was of them and not new. The school lunch is my least favorite thing about Boone High. One of the things that I like most about my high school is the fact that I feel very safe all the time. From all the staff working to keep students safe to the cop that walks around the halls. Boone high makes me feel like I am home.

We chose Boone High School over Ames because of the programs available for our child. BHS has a fantastic AG program and a strong FFA. Additionally, when we toured the facility and spoke with administration, we were impressed by the multiple programs in place to reach a wide variety of interests.
