I have been at this school from kindergarden to fifth grade.The teachers teach the kids who speak Spanish english, but don't teach the kids who speak English spanish. There is no Spanish immersion here. They give some of the gifted students a month on a Rosetta stone program, maybe that's what they're talking about? If your kid doesn't speak Spanish, they'll probably be excluded on the playground. They have a lot of bullying, and a lot goes 'on' on the playground...
