Most of the kids that aren't popular and get bullied, or are popular, but for the wrong reasons. Most of the kids at this school really like to call each other gay for some reason. Also the school looks like it is a factory from the 1950's but the 5th and 4th graders that are just down the hill get an actual school that looks nice, the food is nasty, today I had a chicken sandwich that had tendons in it and it was dry, they must be hanging up a old A+ food certification because it is not that good, and yesterday we had noodles with plastic cheese melted onto them and they had bits of chicken chunks in them. Other than the lunch situation most of the classrooms seem fine, there is pee flooded on the floor and in the sinks in the boys bathroom and a kid vaped in there today.

Brandon Middle School is awesome. They help kids that need help and offer ways for the academically advanced kids to be pushed, which they need. There are many clubs and activities to be involved in. The school has wonderful parent and community support. My kids were there for 8 years, and we had to move. The new school doesn't even compare. BMS is very over crowded. That's the only downside, in my opinion. It is a wonderful school.

They do not have a school nurse and they only have bandaids in the office. There are also do not require staff to be cpr certified so if anything from a panic attack to choking happens the fire department has to be called. But there security is great and they wont let anyone leave or enter without a valid photo ID.

ALL THE SCHOOLS IN RANKIN COUNTY ARE WONDERFUL. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THE FOREIGNT LANGUAGE TEACHER SENDS HER CHILD TO A PRIVATE SHOOL AND TEACHES IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL.
