Located where Laurel Avenue meets Sherwood Avenue in the West End of Bridgeport is the James J. Curiale School. Serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade, this public elementary and middle school is dedicated to taking an innovative approach to education that still reflects the mission of Bridgeport schools as a whole: to provide excellent instruction with a commitment to success.
With over 500 students enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade, the Curiale School encourages students to be invested in their education. With enriching coursework and academic and emotional support from their teachers, the school transforms students into thoughtful individuals and self-determined learners.
From after-school clubs and campus beautification projects to track and field, basketball and lacrosse teams, the Curiale School also offers theater and visual arts programs. Hello, my overall experience at this school was terrible.. I've learned that some teachers do not give other teachers or staff members who are covering their classes any notes. They don't let you know what the students can and can not do in the classroom or how many students can go to the bathroom. Also, some of the students are not on their best behavior at all. Very rude to others. I give this school a 1/10.

These reviews are very upsetting I do not see my school like that at all! I find James J. Curiale school as a great school even though they do have fights and people bullied our Teachers and Principals take very good care of the problems . Curiale is a very great school!
