GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Only went to Mt Hope for the last two years of high school but I loved it nonetheless. The teachers and staff really take the time to get to know you as a person and not just a passing student. I ran into the former principal after graduating and got a hug. Went back to visit then year after I graduated and my teachers were genuinely happy to see and chat with me. It definitely makes me miss high school.

MHHS provides opportunities to all students to succeed. Their teachers and staff offer after school hours to provide added support and guidance. The athletic department enough sports as essential but not above academics. They foster an environment that promotes strong academic student athletes. MHHS promotes diversity and celebrates cultural differences.

I like the teacher's, the guidance they provide especially during this last year. They can be very hands on, if that is the support you need.

I wasn't even allowed to go to much because one of the teachers said...

I am proud to be a student of Mt. Hope High School. I'm a freshmen and I've learned so much here already. The after school programs such as extended day, peer helpers, and a new addition MASH (Math & Science Help) are so helpful for any student. Every teacher I have works hard at what they do and ne...
