Overall a great community and a calm and good learning environment but it did not prepare me for college as much as I initially thought it did. The only thing I wish this school did was teach me how to study and prep for exams and my classes in college.

I was a student at Bronx Early College Academy from 6th grade to 12th grade and overall it was an amazing experience. The school is small so you know everyone you go to school with, however I find that as a pro rather a con. The teachers are also very nice and do their best to make sure you succeed in their classes.

Good college ready courses. There is an Ib program in which students take the course for. The courses are film,Reflective project, and English. At the end of the course the student take certain test and this decides whether they pass.

This school gives our kids the opportunity to receive college credits in Hugh School. An opportunity many children in this neighborhood would never have.
