Honestly the worst part about the school is the lack of communication it has with its students in terms of letting us know about different activities, such as senior picture day, award ceremonies, etc. The teachers are pretty supportive and kind to the students.

My first year in Bronx High School for the Visual Arts was my senior year I have attend three diffrent high school over my high school years. In my old high school they mainly focuses on graduation and college course, however similarly Bronx High School for the Visual Arts focuses on important classes for students additionally students art skills. In my old high school and many other schools their is security scanning everyday, while in Bronx High School for the Visual Arts their have been only once since the begging of the year as the principal state that they trust their students. One think I don't like about Bronx High School for the Visual Arts that they cant handle students problem in right way. Also the restrooms don't have ventilation which is a major problem for health. Seniors and some juniors could leave their lunch time last period. Overall, I recommend Bronx High School for the Visual Arts for all students that have art skills and want to try new things in art.

I would like to see more clubs there. My time at this school has been alright but I just wish there were more activities to do.

The experience with the teachers and staff were amazing. The only thing I don’t like about this school is that they allow the students to have phones during class and it’s a big distraction. Metal detectors would be a plus also

This school sucks, it has mean staff members and teachers who make us read from the text book and answer questions all year around.
