alnoor is probably the worst private skl in nyc. First, they SPOIL the boys as if we're (girls) servants and robots to the teachers, while the boys get whatever they want. For example, whenever its the SLIGHTEST rain outside, us middle and highskl girls cant go outside when we are all above the age of 11 and obviously wont hurt ourself with 5 raindrops on the floor, but when its the boys time, they always get to go outside, ALWAYS. I genuinly dont rmbr a time where they couldnt go outside, unless it was actual heavy rain. second, the uniform they are tryna make us wear the upcoming yr, IS HORRIBLE. why do the girls have to wear all black and then a dark hijab when we have hot days in the beginning and end of every skl yr. They are making us wear black leggings under the abaya which is crazy!! Specific socks, jackets, sweaters, its all stupid. the teachers there are also eh. Some are acrually good, and others are the rudest and most racist ppl i ever seen who dont deserve to be a teache

One of my best school experiences was in my senior year when I entered the science fair with my best friend. We worked hard on a project about renewable energy, building a small wind turbine that could power a light bulb. On the day of the fair, we were nervous but excited to present our project. As we showed how our turbine worked, the judges and our classmates seemed really impressed. Our hard work paid off when we won first place. It was an amazing feeling and made me proud of our effort and teamwork. This experience was one of the highlights of my school years. One of my worst experiences in high school was failing a big math test in junior year. I thought I understood the material, but when I got the test back, I saw a failing grade and felt terrible. The hardest part was telling my parents and seeing their disappointment. I felt embarrassed and lost confidence in myself. I don't think I would change anything

This school has improved so much over the past years. The leadership is more organized. Yes, great teachers leave but the school has managed to maintain good academic standards and hire other good teachers. There are dedicated counselors for parents and students. Everybody knows each other. The high...

As a parent, I can say this school made a huge difference in my child's life. I found teachers that genuinely care about the students, they are quick to reach out if there is a concern and always responsive. No school is perfect, whether it's public or private, but at least you can go directly to th...
