Bullying is vicious and rampant. Children have been physically hurt by other students and verbally abused by teachers. Other teachers and staff watch from the sidelines, fearing reproach from wealthy parents -- who run the school's board. Academically very weak; grads need tutoring in math and science.

Excellent. My kids are engaged, happy and thriving. The faculty and staff are wonderful and the academics are excellent. BHMS kids are confident, poised and thoughtful, and they are capable of speaking in public like no other kids.

Both of my children started in the 2's program at Brooklyn Heights Montessori. My son graduated, went to a great high school and received a scholarship to college.
