BCHS strives for a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.  The students feel comfortable and safe.   The bullying that happens is minimal because it is addressed and reported the moment it happens when it is caught.  Classes have a mix of learning abilities. We have a well versed staff and provide students with after school work programs as well as in school mental / socio-emotional services.  Teachers and staff are in constant contact with families. Admin has challenged me as a teacher in ways that has helped me grow.  I may not agree with everything that they say but their constructive criticism has been respectful for me and has helped me improve as a teacher.  They welcome teacher feedback so they can grow as well. We have a diverse population of students.  We also have a growing population of English Language Learners (Spanish speaking).  All students enjoy the clubs and monthly celebrations we have which help foster community.
