P.S. 244 is a excellent, active learning elementary school. People who lives in New York will know about this school because of the healthy food that only P.S. 244 provides, which is vegetarian. This school is also hard to get in because of the limit of students can join the school each year. Personally, I got in this school because my brother was chosen to join this school. So, I am super lucky and I don't know how happy was I when I got to know I was accepted. The only bad thing is that this school only provides education until Grade 3, which means students will have to join another school after graduating from Grade 3.

This is a very good school especially if your child has learning challenges. The teachers works extremely hard with the students. The staff is very friendly and caring. The Principal and Vice principals are very visible and create an attractive atmosphere for learning.
