Saint Saviour Elementary School was founded in 1906 at 701 8th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215. Just a short walk from Prospect Park, children around Brooklyn attend Saint Savior Elementary School. By 1909, the school became overcrowded and a larger building was constructed. In 2012, the school transitioned to Saint Saviour Catholic Academy as an independent school governed by a Board of Directors. Students can ride the free yellow school bus to school or request MetroCards. The school is accessible via the F, G train. Although the school is within the Park Slope community and most children that attend the school are from the local area, Saint Savior Elementary School represents most Brooklyn zip codes. The inclusive and diverse environment creates a vibrant community. Parents are welcome to volunteer at events, fundraisers, and field trips. In addition, the school provides opportunities to volunteer for charitable work at a local soup kitchen, food pantry, and animal rescue. Families complement the sense of community and commitment to instilling Christian education at Saint Saviour Elementary School. Many great extracurricular programs. Academics are typical for academies now. Work is just thrown at the student and not much teaching occurs.

Everyone was very welcoming. The teachers are exceptional. Admissions process wasn't difficult at all. They give every student a fair chance. They do what they can to improve the schools academic experience.
