Central high school is a ridiculous school. They love to brag about how we're placed as second in high schools in hernando county. In reality Central high school has traumatized me and other students as well. Girls recording each other in bathrooms and admin has no idea. Teachers are not good at their jobs for the most part. I am glad to say goodbye to this school in may.

My experience at Central was good, I was in the AICE program so I had many resources available to me. If I could change anything I would change the student involvement in activities and sports.

At Central High School the students and staff are very kind and welcoming. But the more time you spend there the more you notice the state of disarray it is in. As a senior focusing on graduating with honors it is difficult when you have to wait weeks to meet with you counselor to get your schedule on track for you to meet graduation requirements. And it is also very stressful when you are unaware about certain things that that the school staff should tell you and don't. When I transferred mid school year I had a very hard time adjusting and the disorganization of the school made it worse. I hope that in the future the school it better suited to help their students get an stay on the path to greatness.

The deputy that works here is awful. He's constantly having kids Baker Acted and they're sent to mental health facilities for no reason at all and he gets CPS involved as well. He thinks he has the right to tell you how to parent your child. Kids are not allowed to be kids anymore. If they're even a...

The absolute worst high school imaginable. Being a student there actually feels like being in "Mean Girls" or some other comedy movie that portrays typical high school students with all of their worst traits accentuated. Students there suck and so does the staff. Neither of them seem to care.

This school is the worst school by far my child has attended. The only good thing is the ROTC program. If your child has special needs especially Asperger's, ADHD, Sensory, ETC. Then look some where else. They don't care nor follow the students IEP. They escalate the student rather than find a solut...
