My overall experience at Nature Coast Technical High School was very good, while the food may not be as good as others, the staff make it just as warm and inviting. There was rarely ever a fight, and if there was it was handled immediately and well. They handled the Covid-19 pandemic with grace and it did not affect my education whatsoever. Overall, it was a very great experience and I am infinitely grateful.

Teachers, staff, and administration are very supportive of the kids; guidance counselors are available to assist you in setting up your life after high school; teachers are very helpful and, for the most part, patient.

Many teachers are kind and willing to help you learn. But many others seem to hate their jobs or have very clear favorites in the class. The school layout could be made much clearer for freshman, the schedule seems to change every year, and classes are around 2 hours long (which every student collectively agrees is wrong).

I have had 2 graduate from NTC, and a third graduates this year. All 3 have received an excellent education. All have gone onto (or will be) university with merit scholarships. The faculty have been excellent. I can’t say enough good things about NCT. Go Sharks!

When parents help prepare their children and stay involved, the high school experience can be an amazing thing. If you have a hardworking student who you want to have a well-rounded high school experience, then NCTHS should be at the top of your list. This goes for sports as well. This is the best s...
