The niche teacher-student ratio listed in this(15:1) is very misleading. My 3rd grader has 1 teacher in a class of 24, and a roaming "teachers assistant"( who is not certified to be a class teacher) for all the 3rd graders(around 60) in the campus. The other teachers(arts, drama, music, PE) are shared among all the teachers of the whole school. Please do not assume that your 3rd, 4th, 5th grader will be in a small class with 15 students and 1 teacher knowing everyone personally.

Generally, the teachers are great. Some grades have better teams than other grades. Teachers who do not fit into the BCS culture within their first year are often not back the following year. It's a tough environment for a teacher in their first year at the school. Generally approachable and very helpful. There are high expectations of the teachers because the parent community can be demanding.
