GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like that the teachers all seem to care and want the kids to succeed. I don't like how hard how it is to motivate my peers.

I don't go to a bad school. There are a lot of things that I feel need to change, but due to budget cuts and our small size it isn't easy to change some things. So I feel like my school is doing the best it can for the resources it is given.

I go to a very small school. We don't have the best facilities or courses offered but we do have staff who genuinely cares about the students.

I am an ex-teacher. The teachers are caring and I believe effective. Students can prepare for college, trade schools or direct employment in local logging / sawing operations.

I love Burney High School! Everyone is so friendly and we have all grown up together! The students are very close with teachers, staff, and each other. People from a large city school would not understand the tremendous school spirit we have here at Burney High School!
