GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall a great small town school. Teachers are always available, and will go out of their way to help. Personally think we have to many administrators K-12. The parents have an organization called Bluejay Bakers, where they plan events for all school activities, it's a great asset to our school.

The teachers at my school are great. At my previous school, my teachers didn't do much to help me, and I suffered temporarily with my grades. That's why my GPA isn't to great, but since being here, my grades have improved greatly and it's due to the teachers really helping me and working with me on my work.

I am a new student this school year, and i love this school. their is so much for us students to get involved with and the staff really encourages us to get involved. We have sports, such as volleyball, basketball, track, and football. we have a t-shirt making club, forensics/theater, religious clubs, reading groups, and a vocal/band. Sports are definitely a big deal, but students participate in more than just one activity. I like the options, and how everyone wants you to join something.
