The best part is the assembly's. They always make them fun and interesting. Especially when we have guest speakers. The worst part is the other kids probably. There attitudes are horrible and there is a huge vaping problem. I would like some of the school curriculum to change. A lot of things we learn don't really apply to the jobs some of us students are going to have, some of it is just unnecessary.

They offer numerous dual credit classes along with a few AP classes. They pathways allow students to earn college credit after taking the KOSSA and encourage them to figure out what they want to do with life. The downfall includes the fairness they show areas of the extracurriculars. Athletics are favored over academics and football and basketball are favored over other sports. If you are going to let one group leave early to compete you should let others leave early as well. They claim to support clubs and groups associated with the school yet non athletics have to display awards in the hallway outside of classrooms not in the front of the school like athletics get to do. Some of the rules do not make since and only apply to part of the students- not everyone like they claim. The teachers genuinely care for the students while administration is a little harder to read. As a graduate of the school district there were things I think should change but overall the education was enough.

I have just graduated from Calloway County High School. In that place i learned a lot about history, psychology and etc. but i also learned that that no matter how hard things look, they are not as hard as they seem, i learned to socialize me deal with people the correct way i learned to manage my self in a profesional way, i learned that there is always a way and to never give up, those were things that made me into who i am today and have prepared me for the outside world.

This school doesn't get the credit it deserves for student success. I like the push for all students to be involved in 1 or more activities. So much is offered, clearly there is something for every student that has an interest. It is easy to fit in and administration and staff work at keeping this s...

Calloway is a great school. Teachers have high expectations for all students and the administration is very supportive. They were awarded a bronze star award by US News and World Reports.
