Excellent charter school for children who don't conform to the public school setting or need smaller class sizes. Caring teachers and academically challenging (with much teacher support and guidance). My son had ADHD and did not do well in a public school setting. He transferred to POCS for 7th grade. The school completely got him back on track. He graduated this year and is headed to college in the Fall. Highly recommend this school!!!! Could not imagine where my son would be without having it.

Small school where the classes range from 10-15 students and is perfect for those looking for small classroom sizes. Also each class usually has a paraprofessional to help those in need. However there are no sports to speak of however they do offer better assistance for those with special needs

I have worked at Positive Outcomes Charter School for 3 years now. Never have I worked with a more caring, committed staff! At POCS, students are the number one priority. We work diligently to help our students develop as individuals. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do!

As a graduate of Class of 2010, I think that my only good experiences were the summer 2009 Civil War camp trip to Gettysburg, PA, as well as the compassionate and fair administration of the POCS director. Furthermore, I find that most of the students are browbeating, as well as the special ed. coord...
