Velma Jackson High School is a nice school in an amazing school district. The only thing I would like to see change is the teaching. Some of my teachers actually take the time out to teach the class while others just give the class an assignment and don't teach.

I love how my teachers never give up on me. They always find a way to help me succeed. And to my fellow peers I love how they make my day whenever they see me sad.

I'm a recent graduate of Velma Jackson High school and the four years while I was there I really enjoyed myself. They have plenty of resources needed for students to prepare for college and the atmosphere is just wonderful. The only thing I wish for the school is to have more involvement from the parents but everything else is great.
