As a senior of Carson High, I really enjoyed my last 4 years. I played soccer my sophomore year and it as the best thing i've ever done. I was open to new activities and ceramics which i got really good at.

I like it but i am oblivious to a lot of problems that could be happening. I am really involved with the NJROTC and they have a great program. Admin is really trying to make it the best experiences and learning environment for all students but a lot of the students are making it hard for them.

Carson High School can be a great school if you are a dedicated student who can set goals for themselves. However Administration struggles to address the general student population's issues sometimes and there is a general lack of motivation amongst many students. I'd like to see the school put more into its arts department and focus on motivating students to be successful.

I highly suggest looking into other schools and only going to CHS as a last resort. This school has pretty much been the sole causation of my mental decline. Very good school. Exceptional teachers. The teachers are really good here. I don't see a one size fits all teaching approach. They have been very responsive to individual student needs. My student has thrived here. Homework is not excessive and adequate.
