GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my experience are the teachers, amazing teachers who are passionate and who know what they are doing. The worst experience is sort of the food, I wish for more variety of food and more tasty meals for lunch. I like to see the school do more for the academics, yes they offered a lot of class but I fear some aren't college ready after being in those classes.

I very much like the staff and new teachers they've hired as it's a step in the right direction, although it is limited in its ap class offerings and with no honors.

I love the small environment. Everything is personable and the entire community is invested in things and events such as sports. Something I would like to see in Caruthers is a larger variety of class options.

Caruthers has a great Doctor's Academy program and their staff is great. Small school that really has a great homey feel to it.
