I think I'll start with the best and end with the worst. I love all the chances the school gives you to grow, from clubs to outdoors camping trips to just listening to guest speakers. Your Cary Academy experience is what you make of it and what you do with it. I think that the more you're willing to just speak to people and be yourself the more rewarded you'll be here, which is a nice switch up from the high school stories you usually hear. All the teachers I've had have been super nice and helpful, they are completely willing to guide you and give you extra help and listen to any of your concerns. I think the worst parts of Cary Academy are the stress, it is a very academic school and you will find yourself a bit overwhelmed at one point or another by APs and classes and the food. I don't know, everything else is great but the lunch is NOT good, I recommend bringing a packed lunch.

Lunch was horrible and so not worth the money, even if you bring your lunch from home, you still have to pay the fee. Lower the prices for lunch! it is too high.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had this school recommended to me in 5th grade. No one in our family has ever attended a private school, but for our graduating senior, it gave him the exact formula for his personal success. The college counselors are wonderful too.

I emplore you not to send your kids here. Once they get into the upperschool, CA traps them by messing with their class rank if they leave.
