I would not recommend this school. They are not kind. I am disappointed. I have even been treated unkindly by faculty.

Cary Academy is a fantastic school, everyone is included, loved, and respected. They don't look at you as a person but they truly see you for the individual that you are.

One thing I would like to change is the protocol for hiring teachers. Some teachers (the ones hired many years ago) are absolutely amazing, and are a huge highlight of my time here. However, recently hired teachers seem to be hired from a desire to diversify (which is great, but not when the teachers are inadequate and not qualified) and have led to a decrease in my regard for the school.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had this school recommended to me in 5th grade. No one in our family has ever attended a private school, but for our graduating senior, it gave him the exact formula for his personal success. The college counselors are wonderful too.

I emplore you not to send your kids here. Once they get into the upperschool, CA traps them by messing with their class rank if they leave.
