I loved the small school atmosphere. There was never any dramas and everybody knew everybody. Knew all the teachers and were able to keep close contact and enjoy time. All administration and teachers were very helpful in preparing us for further learning and careers.

Jo Byrns is a very good high school. You know every one really well and if your new it does not take long at all for you to fit in. We are a very welcoming school. We have grown up with mostly everyone our entire life and went to school together our entire life. Everyone is close and very friendly. The teachers are great and they teach you a lot.

I loved my small school setting. Everyone knew everyone's name and I loved being a red devil. But the downside was just the same, everyone knows everything and was all in everyone's business. I loved my teachers, as they all pushed me to do my best.

Alumni from 2009, Would not recommend. There is definitely some favoritism in this school unless its changed (and for record I was an AB student). I actually tell people I would love to move back to that area but I do not want my kids going there for high school.

I used to work at Jo Byrns for 14 years...and absolutely loved it!!! I have 5 children 2 of which have already graduated from there one that will graduate in a year from now and 2 in the elementary school. I wish it could've stayed a k-12 school but there are so many people wanting to get their kids...
