The school environment was overall unenjoyable. The teachers were okay if you are a member of the magnet program. The morale of the teachers and staff was very low and that was apparent to me as a student. The administration was unresponsive. It felt like their main prerogative was to maintain control over the students, not make sure they are happy and able to learn.

I am in magnet program and so I think the teachers were better than teachers for electives (P.E., technology, etc.). I don't know about the teachers from the resident side, but i haven't heard the best things about some.

the teachers are very nice and helpful but the staff is really bad the only staff member that is nice is Dr.Stovall and the school food is discusting.

A current student here, our teacher tried to have us eat food in class as a treat before thanksgiving breaks. However, she was sick the day of, so we had to go to the cafeteria. The educational part of the school is average and most of the teachers are fair with homework and discipline. The state of the school, however, is an entirely different thing.
