The best part was definitely some of the classes as well as some of the teachers. For me, I feel like having a teacher you can ask anything to is super important. I also believe them being able to teach in fun ways is also important because then the students engage more. I love the overall community because I feel like we have a lot to offer for anything and to everyone. We have a lot of resources and we also do fun things that the school sometimes sets up. A lot of the resources come from brilliant students in trying to make this school like a "family" where we can all relate and be safe.

Monticello Highschool gave me some of the best memories and life long friends, alongside HMSA (Health and Medical Sciences Academy) located within the school leading me to persue medicine.

Congratulations Monticello! April 21, 2015...The National School Board Association is honoring Monticello High School with the Magna Award, its highest award. MHS is receiving the award due to its new Learning Commons program. Well deserved!

I went to this school, but lived just on the border of Nelson. They basically handed me a letter telling me I was being kicked out or being charged $10,000 to finish my senior year!
