Aggeler Community Day is a community day school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Located at 21050 Plummer Street in the city of Chatsworth, the school enrolls approximately 70 students in seventh through twelfth grades. Home of the Mighty Mustangs, Aggeler Community Day is a continuation school for the Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, a multi-service residential agency serving court-ordered adolescent boys. Aggeler Community Day is held on the same campus, in conjunction with the William Tell Aggeler Opportunity High; however, class schedules are independent of the high school’s bell schedule. The goal of Aggeler Community Day is to support the Rancho San Antonio Boys Home by offering academic excellence and teaching students effective communication skills, peaceful resolution tactics and how to become responsible global citizens with the ability to give back to their own communities. The mission of Aggeler Community Day is to provide a successful learning environment and work alongside parents, guardians, social workers and students to develop the best version of each student. Core classes include English, math, science, social studies and world languages. The school also provides mental health services including grief support, as well as individual and group counseling.
