I went here. It was great, as long as I didn't show any signs of depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, or anything outside the norm. The curriculum was wonderful, the classes offered were great, but I had a horrid time with the teachers and students. I was bullied(by both), punished for things I didn't do, and was told to get over it and such when in the middle of active panic attacks. It's a great school, as long as you're rich, white, straight, cis, and neurotypical. If not, try somewhere else.

GPS has excellent academics and a wonderful dedication to its traditions, history, and legacy as one of Chattanooga's premier schools. Single-sex education was extremely beneficial for me as it allowed me to express myself openly and in a safe environment, and I think GPS does an excellent job at capitalizing on this for their students. My time there was very important for my growth and shaped me into who I am today.

I would not be who I am today without my years at GPS. Being surrounded by so many amazing women at GPS was foundational in my formative years. I saw women lead in a variety of ways without fear of failure - from athletics, to the arts, to academics, to community involvement. I am a confident, secure leader in my community because of the skills, knowledge, wisdom, and mentorship I received at GPS.

My daughter went to middle school at GPS. She was severely bullied and tormented at this school along with other girls. The administration and counselors were aware of the situation but nothing ever changed. I know for a fact that the administration does tolerate bullying, fat shaming and harassment...

I was a student here for 7th and 8th grade while we lived in TN. It was quite possibly one of the worst experiences of my life. As some other reviews have mentioned, the majority of girls who attend here come from very wealthy families and they have their own little social 'bubble' that they all fie...

I have been favorably impressed. I initially had doubts and misconceptions and they have been changed. One of my daughters is happier here than at any other school she has ever attended.

I'm very surprised by the negative reviews in here. In my experience they are inaccurate. My daughter is in middle school here and we've had nothing but great experiences. Of course they are strict and challenge the girls to maximize their learning but that's what makes it a great College Preparator...
