it is a stem based school so obviously its going to be good at stem. it has a whole lab of professional grade equipment for us to use for our various projects. really fun.

STEM has seen some amazing teachers through the years and offers a different type of high school experience with more responsibility and freedom. At this DU school, you start to attend college courses in your last two years. While I have enjoyed my time here and met some wonderful souls, It's been a struggle to get proper aid in classes after a hefty ADHD Diagnosis, and think they could work on inclusivity with neurodivergent students.

We love the system of academic and hands-on learning. The students become responsible young adults, being able to manage their time and system of learning. The teachers and admin. are open and supportive to both parents and students specially.

For the 2015-2016 school year I have been extremely pleased with STEM school. The principal and staff members actually want their students to succeed. The class sizes are small, students take ownership of their work and other responsibilities, and the environment is exactly what I wanted for my son.
