GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was a small school, so it was very easy to get extra help from your teachers if you need the help. Everybody was super friendly and if you were apart of the sports, everybody knew who you are because of such a small community. Its a great place to go to school.

While it is a nice school to go at because you know everybody that goes to it. It is also a school that doesn't have the best opportunities to excel in school and in a certain field. There is no extra activities that you really just want to get into and stay in it. There isn't a lot of advantages to get where you want to go

The school is a friendly and close knit atmosphere. There is not one person you don't know in the halls. As far as academics, not very many challenging classes are offered and there are hardly any elective choices. Sports are a big deal and honestly the only way to keep yourself busy in Chester.

This is my daughters first year here and she is miserable! Kids are very mean and teachers and staff always say they will take care of the problem but never do! The academics are not up to par with schools in a bigger city and no body seems to care!
