Named after Daniel R. Cameron and a Magnet School of the Arts, Cameron Elementary offers pre-K through eighth grade students a chance to study both arts and traditional academics amidst a creative and dynamic environment.
Cameron educates all students in a curriculum built around its core values of courage, accountability, respect, and effort. With over $100,000 invested in after-school and summer programs in the arts, Cameron's focus does not stop there. The school also offers leadership programs, restorative justice, bilingual education, and mentorship opportunities.
Cameron seeks to not only develop talent in fine and performing arts but also instill creativity, confidence, and community through relationships in all aspects of a student's life inside and outside the classroom. With an extensive program of parental involvement, Cameron offers several ways to get involved with your child's education, including the Cameron-Parent Compact, which encourages parental involvement to ensure smooth progress through all grade levels.
