it is ok as a school, but the peers really genuinly dont make up for it. it really isnt that good. the teachers themselves are some of the nicest people ive ever met, but the students are people who are less than stellar and dont tend to follow rules, alot of the light skinned students tend to say a certian slur i cant say.

I have had a very interesting four years at this school. As a freshman, I questioned many of the staff's choices and the students' choices. Bathrooms are locked to prevent vaping, and in my first year there we had a bomb threat. However, despite how irritating I found the people there, there were many people who I really liked. MY social studies teacher made his lessons fun and engaging and there was a group of guys that I now call my close friends. Overall, if you are looking for a school with a diverse set of students, then i recommend coming to NTA

This school is alright. I'll say for the most part they are really helpful with work and the staff are nice. Although, the students are an issue. If there's problems against students they don't fix it and let it slide. I also find the backpack rule and dress code an issue. For example, 5 students already broke their chrome's due to everything they had to carry. I believe we should have our backpacks and more CARE in the school.

I was a student, at Northtown, from 2015 to 2019. Overall, my own experience was interesting, exciting, lots of lessons learned, decent classmates, and lots of teachers that has helped me get where I am today. Freshman year and sophomore year was a bit rough, as it always should be, since we transit...

I went here from 2015 to 2019 - Northtown is one of the better charter schools in the Chicagoland area I believe. All the staff are respectful, classes ensure that you will learn a concept or idea to the fullest extent, and you will most definitely feel welcome.I made many friends along the way, and...

There are plenty of amazing schools in chicago with teachers and faculty who support their students and their goals in life; however, this isn't one of them. Not t...
