I feel like there is very poor communication between teachers and parents. Events in school aren't planned properly and they get annouced to us parents very last minute (the day before) . Thus makes it hard for us parents to get involved. I was given a note from school about an award assembly where...

Effective July 1 Hinton will be called Dr. Martin Luther King Jr . Academy of Social Justice . We are so excited . We will have new curriculum including gifted . Enrollment is open

School recently held meetings to discuss changing the curriculum focus of the school. Students are set to make great improvments this school year.
