Many of the teachers were passionate about their jobs when I was there, and as a student it created a very encouraging environment.

I believe Hancock overall is a good, small cps selective enrollment school; however some of the academics and choices by administrators are questionable.

Attending John Hancock College Prep from 2019 to 2023, it was a mostly positive experience in terms of my academics and teachers I've had at the school. There were noticeable management issues in planning events that dealt with performing and visual arts that wouldn't be resolved sometimes.
