What i liked about Hernandez middle school was that the teachers were very helpful with everything when it came around testing and school work. something that i would change is the programs they had like sports, i wished that they had better activities and clubs.

Hernandez Middle School has a good chunk of sports and clubs, but not enough. Maybe if they would motivate students more and inform them the benefits in being in a club or a sport they will join more.

If I could give it zero, I gave it to them, the principal is a despot of the parents, with the students, with the teachers, I don't know how the netwok has not seen all the problems that this school has that the students are lower academically

I don't know about the other comments but based on my own experience this school is great. The campus and the infrastructure is one of the best in CPS. New building, new equipment for student use. The school has great academics, athletics, clubs and extra curriculum activities. Is not a bad neighbor...

Academically this school is continuously getting worse. Poor principal leadership and poor teaching should to be blamed. Everybody (both teachers and students) in classrooms turn their cell phones off and put them in their bags and focus on teaching and learning. So disappointing.
