We've had a great experience at Morgan Park Academy. Our kids have been there since PreK, and we plan to stay through high school. The school is diverse and welcoming, and the teachers really know and care about each student. We love how accessible the faculty are, and how much focus there is on both academics and character. The world language options are a big plus, and the outdoor spaces on campus are beautiful—it's such a nice environment for learning and growing.

I went to MPA for middle school, which was not a good experience. The academics are terrible I got all A's in all my classes even though I didn't study or do any homework outside of school. The food is not healthy they serve greasy and sugary foods. The students are rude and talk behind your back I only had a few real friends who I could trust. I don't think I learned much at all from any of the teachers because they let the students misbehave and talk the whole class period. Overall, I would not recommend going to MPA.

My experience at Morgan Park Academy was good. COVID-19 played a huge role in my high school experience but I made the best of my situation. I feel that Morgan Park Academy has prepared me for college well, they have made the college application process easy for me and I feel I received a good education. While extracurriculars weren't as strong, MPA still is a solid school

MPA has really spiraled downward. The education now is not where it was 20-30 years ago. The focus of the school seemed to drift away from education. Bad behavior is also tolerated and really disrupts learning.

This school cares about your child until they enroll...My student ranked in the upper 90 percentile nationally in math before transferring to MPA. My student now ranks in the 30 percentile nationally in math. Ask the school how many 8th graders passed the state exit algebra exam! Instead of preparin...
