My experience in Rauner has been not the worst, not the best. I would like to see more out of school involvement like field trips to get students something to look forward to instead of work all the time. I do like the mental health help provided through social work, and the college readiness provided. It makes sure students feel confident and know what they're doing in college.

It is a good school when it comes to college readiness. Clubs and sports are a great way to make friends.

Entering Rauner College Prep as a freshman was scary at first but it turned out to be very welcoming. I was able to enter the school with supportive and nice teachers and also being able to have community bonding exercises with my classmates in order to get to know them better. I believe every high school has its up and downs and yes, Rauner has had some downs, but Rauner knows how to make their school better and how to fix mistakes. As a senior, it's a bummer that its getting way better now that I'm leaving but I know its perfect for the new classes to come.

I sadly attended this school for all 4 years of high school. The teachers who actually cared about learning were good, while some allowed us to pass the class without having done any work. Teachers here do not discipline kids enough and some can't handle their incredibly disrespectful students. CULT...
