Tried to transfer my child from Salazar to another school and office clerk was very rude to me and new school office. Took all day to fax paperwork.

The school was very nurturing and the administration was able to have staff that were supportive and carrying. The school prepared my child for high school and most importantly life. This school went above and beyond to help my children and myself as a parent.

This school has a lot of qualities, my two daughters are happy to be there. The teaches they have had are great. I like that they are teaching and learning more than one language is important.

The academic program is superior and the teachers are well prepared to handle special ed. I'm glad there's a public school like this in Chicago because everyone knows that being bilinguals is THE WAY OF THE FUTURE.

My daughter attended Salazar for 2 yrs in the preK program. I can not speak more highly of the preK program as well as the school. The teachers and teachers aides are fantastic, highly qualified with many years of experience. They did a fantastic job accommodating each child regardless of their back...

Salazar has a great Pre-K program. The teachers are committed. There is parent involvement and there is a true international mix of kids. Salazar is a great neighborhood resource.
